The Township of Mapleton is proud of it’s farming roots and continues to maintain it’s great heritage and culture with a variety of festivals, fairs and other local events.  It is currently made up of large farms, urban settlements, industries and businesses serving local communities as well as global markets.

It is made up of many smaller communities including Alma, Moorefield, Parker, Stirton, Yatton, Quarindale, Kumpfville and most notably Drayton.  The peaceful community is home to the Conestogo River and the Conestogo Lake Conservation Area which are fantastic for enjoying nature while boating, fishing, camping, swimming, hiking, biking and spending quality time with loved ones.

The township sits just 40 minutes from Kitchener, Waterloo and Guelph and only 25 minutes away from Fergus and Elora.  It’s no surprise that we continue to see more and more development starting in this beautiful area of Wellington County.
