Guelph/Eramosa Township offers a small-town feel with many heritage homes, farms and great culture.  It partially surrounds the City of Guelph and has easy access to all of it’s amenities in addition to the nearby Township of Centre Wellington (Link This) depending on where you reside.  The township was formed in 1999 with the amalgamation of the former Townships of Guelph, Eramosa and part of Pilkington and Nichol creating the Township of Guelph/Eramosa.

The area is the host to a variety of small communities and is lucky to feature both the Guelph and Rockwood conservation areas protected by the Grand River Conservation Authority.  Enjoy the beaches, picnic areas, fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking swimming and camping at either of these amazing locations.  Rockwoods towering limestone cliffs and unique setting make it popular for television. movies and photo shoots.

The township also includes the smaller communities of Ariss, Armstrong Mills, Birge Mills, Brucedale, Centre Inn, Eden Mills, Eramosa, Everton, Marden, Mosborough, Redwood Hills, and Rockcut.  All of which have their own unique history.

We continue to see a growing real estate trend in many of these communities.  If you’re looking for peace and tranquillity, acreage, a sprawling home, and or an old farm house, Guelph Eramosa will not disappoint.
